Appleton, Wis. - The Great Lakes Loons (15-7) went 4-for-12 with runners in scoring position, and the bullpen delivered six scoreless innings for a seventh straight win by the score of 6-4 in the series opener against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (15-7) on a 67-degree partly cloudy Tuesday night at Fox Cities Stadium. Lansing, MI - For the first time this season, the South Bend Cubs won a game when trailing their opponent after both six and seven innings. In comeback fashion in the series opener against the Lansing Lugnuts in Michigan's capital, the Cubs erased two separate Lansing leads to earn the victory and set up an early morning game coming up on Wednesday. Salt Lake Grabs Series Opener in OKC
The Salt Lake Bees seized the series opener in Oklahoma City against the OKC Baseball Club on Tuesday, winning their fifth one-run game, 3-2. Salt Lake broke the deadlock in the seventh inning with a pair of runs as Jordyn Adams RBI groundout would plate the game-winning run. Neither team was able to spark the offense through the first three innings, but Chad Wallach drove in the first run of the game with a two-out RBI double to left field, plating Willie Calhoun from first. Marauders Blast Three Home Runs En Route to 7-3 Victory
BRADENTON, FL - The Bradenton Marauders collected a hit in seven innings, while crushing three home runs to help down the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels 7-3 on Tuesday night at LECOM Park. Bradenton jumped ahead early with two runs in the first inning against Major League rehabber Josh Winder (0-1). Minor League rehabber Joshua Palacios notched a one-out double before Garret Forrester singled him in to make it 1-0 Bradenton.
