Our BC clubs organized many very successful events in 2023, and, thanks to so many committed volunteers, we have so many more exciting walks to look forward to in 2024.
It is my hope to meet many of you over the coming months, including at the VABC AGM and walk, which will be held on April 13 in Surrey, and which is being organized by Surrey Trekkers. And in May, many of us will be in Ottawa for the Tulip Festival walks, which will then be followed by the Kingston Walking Festival.
Our VABC walking challenges are continuing. You can walk with all four of our BC clubs, or complete all the BC Director’s walks in a given region- or, if you’re really ambitious, you’re welcome to walk them all! More information can be found on this web site.

BC Special Walking Programs
These two BC special walking programs have been revamped and updated. The Walk with BC Clubs program is a great way to meet walkers in other clubs, and the Walk BC PT Challenge is a wonderful way to explore BC. You can find all the details and downloadable challenge forms on the Special Walking Programs page.

October 12 – 14, 2024 Surrey Trekkers Wine Walks
Yes, the very popular Wine Walks are returning. 4 walks each passing at least two wineries on the beautiful Okanagan Valley.
2024 VABC AGM
The AGM will be hosted by Surrey Trekkers on April 13th, 2024. The walk will start from the North Delta Recreation Centre, 11415 84 Avenue, Delta, BC V4C 2L9 at 10:00 am followed by lunch and the AGM meeting. All are welcome!
